Summer weekends were always spent exploring the country shows of North Yorkshire, looking forward to the show season all winter. Every year you could experience microcosm of interesting and unique individuals. The beauty of the shows was always that it didn't just attract rural folk but people from all walks of life. It didn't matter what you were interested in, there was always something to see. The shows have continued to grow in popularity attracting thousands of people every year. Learning traditional skills, trying new things, and enjoying seeing the spectacles of the country.
