The landscape of the North Yorkshire moors appears wild, stark and windswept. Appearing to manage and govern its own existence. What is often not seen is the dedicated gamekeepers working to improve the moors. The work done by gamekeepers is often misunderstood and at times they face hostility due to this.
This body of images show the gamekeepers work in conjunction with local groups to improve the landscape and conserve the moors for the wildlife, people that visit and those that call it home.
